In plain words: to run rides, orders, stores and the driver system, Dindom needs the details of the Google account you sign in with, your name, your phone number, your location while you use the app and, for drivers and stores, their verification documents. We use them to connect you with a ride or an order and to keep the service safe. We do not sell your data, and between users we only share what is needed to complete a ride or an order.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Dindom collects, uses, shares and protects the personal information of Passengers, Customers, Drivers and Stores that use the Dindom app, the store partner panel and this website, in and around Cobija, Pando, Bolivia. Bolivia does not yet have a comprehensive personal data protection law; this Policy is built on the privacy protections that do exist in Bolivian law (see Section 4) and on generally recognized data protection good practices.

2. Information we collect

Account and profile

  • The basic details of the Google account you sign in with: name, email address, profile photo and Google account identifier;
  • Full name, mobile phone number and profile photo or selfie; gender and date of birth when you choose to provide them;
  • Your app preferences, such as language.

Drivers

  • Identity Card number, driver's license number and expiry date, date of birth, vehicle type, plate, make, model and color, and association name where applicable;
  • Verification documents and photos: identity card, driver's license, vehicle documents and a selfie.

Stores

  • Business name, category, address and location, opening hours, payment methods, logo and product information;
  • Owner's name, phone number and the Google account used for the store partner panel;
  • Verification documents: identity card of the owner and a photo holding it, tax registration (NIT), business license, photos of the premises and, where applicable, health or pharmacy authorizations and the store's payment QR.

Location

When you set pickup points or delivery addresses, and while you request or receive a ride or an order, we collect your phone's GPS location to connect you with nearby Drivers and show live tracking on the map. For Drivers, while they are online the app also collects their location in the background (with a visible notification on the phone) so they can receive nearby requests and appear on the map; it stops when they go offline.

Rides, orders and payments

  • Pickup and destination points, delivery addresses, routes, distances, suggested fares, price offers, agreed amounts, status changes and times;
  • Order details: Store, products, quantities, totals and delivery fee;
  • Wallet top-ups and their receipts, commissions deducted, balance gifts and other wallet movements. The Dindom wallets do not store payment card numbers.

Communications and content

  • Messages, voice notes, photos and videos sent through the in-app chat of a ride or order, and in the drivers' group chat, including SOS alerts;
  • Ratings, reports, bug reports and messages you send to us.

Game

Scores and game statistics of Moto Rush Cobija (points, distance, items collected, zone reached and duration), used to build the rankings.

Technical information

Basic technical data needed to run and secure the Service, such as app version, device language, the IP address and time of requests recorded in our server logs, and error information.

3. How we use your information

  • To create, identify and protect your account through Sign in with Google;
  • To connect Passengers and Customers with available Drivers and Stores, calculate suggested fares, distances and routes, send requests and offers, and show live tracking;
  • To review Driver and Store applications and documents before approving them;
  • To operate the Driver and Store wallets: apply top-ups, deduct Dindom's commissions and credit balance gifts;
  • To enable communication between the parties of a ride or order, and between Drivers in the group chat;
  • To keep the Service safe: respond to SOS alerts, ratings, reports and bug reports, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms, including warnings and suspensions;
  • To show game rankings and send service messages and announcements inside the app;
  • To fix errors and improve the Service;
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests from Bolivian authorities.

4. Legal basis for processing

The Bolivian Constitution recognizes a general right to privacy and to the protection of personal data (Art. 21.2) and a specific action to challenge the improper recording or use of personal data, the Acción de Protección de Privacidad (Arts. 130-131), procedurally regulated by the Plurinational Constitutional Procedure Code (Law No. 254, Arts. 59 and 63). Bolivia's Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies Law (Law No. 164) and the Digital Citizenship Law (Law No. 1080) also address the confidentiality and lawful use of personal data processed through digital services. A draft general data protection law has been under public discussion, but it had not been enacted as of the effective date of this Policy; if it comes into force, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

Dindom processes your data on the basis of your consent when you create an account and grant permissions; because the processing is necessary to provide the service you request (a ride, an order, a wallet, a verification); to keep the Service and its users safe; and to comply with legal obligations.

CPE Art. 21.2CPE Art. 130-131Law No. 254Law No. 164Law No. 1080

5. Who we share your information with

  • Between Passengers and Drivers: only what is needed to complete a ride or delivery: name, profile photo, phone number, pickup and destination points, live location during the trip, vehicle details, ratings and the in-app chat.
  • Between Customers and Stores: the Store receives your first name, the products of your order and the delivery details it needs; it does not receive your phone number.
  • Other users: game rankings show your short name and profile photo; Drivers in the group chat see the name of the Driver who writes.
  • Service providers: Google (Sign in with Google, maps, place search and routes), open routing services that receive the coordinates of a route to calculate it, and hosting providers that run our servers and store data. They process data on Dindom's behalf and only for those purposes.
  • Authorities: when required by a valid legal order under Bolivian law, or when needed to protect someone's life or safety in an emergency.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep account information while your account is active. Ride and order records, chats, wallet movements and verification documents are kept as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, investigate safety incidents, keep accounting records and meet legal obligations. Chat content may be deleted earlier as part of routine clean-up. When you delete your account, your profile is closed and removed from the Service; we keep only the records we must retain for those reasons, for the time needed, and then delete or anonymize them.

7. Security

We protect your information with measures such as sign-in through Google (Dindom does not store passwords of its own), restricted and logged access to administrative tools, separate access for each administrator, and review of Driver and Store documents. The optional fingerprint lock is handled entirely by your phone's operating system: Dindom never receives or stores your fingerprint. No system is completely secure, so we recommend keeping control of your Google account and your phone.

8. Your rights and choices

  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to explain how it is used, or to stop a specific use, by writing to the contact address below. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
  • You can update your profile in the app and delete your account at any time from Profile › Delete my account.
  • You can deny or revoke location, camera, photo, microphone and fingerprint permissions in your phone's settings; some features will then not work.
  • These channels exist in addition to your constitutional right under Arts. 130-131 of the Bolivian Constitution to file an Acción de Protección de Privacidad before a Bolivian court.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for people over 18 and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

10. International processing

Some of our service providers, including Google, routing services and our hosting providers, may process and store data on servers located outside Bolivia, such as in the United States. We only send them the minimum needed for each function and choose providers with recognized security practices.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service grows or as Bolivian data protection regulation develops. We will update the effective date above and, for important changes, we will notify users inside the app.
